Where is the tournament held?

Chunky 7’s takes place at Ystalyfera RFC, Ynysydaren Ground, Ffordd Glandwr, Ystalyfera, SA9 2DY

What’s the best time to arrive?

Saturday - We recommend you come early so you don’t miss anything as there are some great games on. Turn up, settle in, watch all the action on the pitch and make the most of the activities around and about the venue. Gates open at 8:00am for general admission, and 8:45am for sponsors and their guests.

What time does it end?

The last match finishes at around 6pm. We have live music where you can party ‘til Late.

Is there a Car Park?

Free Parking available at Ysgol Gufun Ystlayfera, no parking or cars allowed on the field or at the front of club. Please respect local residents and do not park where you may cause an obstruction or danger to others. (If you are here for the day, why not arrive by Taxi and enjoy your time with us).

Family Suitability!

Please bring your families, whatever their age! as it’s a great way to have a day out with children and grandparents. As well as the rugby we have Fair Rides, Bouncy Castle, Entertainment, Food and a Bar.

Are there Toilets?

Yes, toilets with washing facilities, which are placed in various locations across the venue.

Will I be able to find anywhere to sit down?

Numerous places - Seats are provided around the venue as well as grassed areas for picnics - one of which is well placed to listen to the music while you enjoy your food and your feet enjoy a well earned rest.

Can I bring my own Food?

Yes. Food can be brought into the venue on the Saturday. Please note: Food stand areas which sells everything from burgers to sandwiches are placed around the venue.

Can I bring my own Drink?

No. Drink can not be brought into the venue on the Saturday due to health and safety reasons. Please note: The venue has a Full Bar serving Alcohol and soft drinks throughout the day - until 10pm.

I need Cash!

Yes. As there are no ATM Machines at the venue.

Are Pets allowed in the Venue?

Sorry, No pets allowed unfortunately due to health and safety reasons.
